With Zim's passing in 1998 Gene Bonner and Wayne Hudson took over the leadership of Zim Zemarel Music. Gene plays tenor sax with the band and handles the bookings. Wayne plays drums and leads the big band. He is also a very popular vocalist. |

Vocalist Bobbie McCleary and pianist Rich Collier have been an important part of the band for many years and are very popular with audiences in the Baltimore/Washington area. Bobbie is a member of the United States Air Force Band and is featured on many of Zim's CD's. Rich is also an accomplished vocalist and brings many years of experience to the band. |

Trombonist Rhoades Whitehill does much of the band's musical arrangements and is an outstanding vocalist as well. Recently retired from the United States Navy Band, Rhoades plays in the style of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. |
